Welcome to HAPA, Health Access and Privacy Alliance!
HAPA is a coalition of civic, educational, religious, professional, and health organizations from all over the state working together to improve access to healthcare and protect reproductive choice in Indiana.

We advocate for the health and safety of women, children, and families. We are concerned with improving access to reproductive healthcare for poor, young, and minority women, and protecting reproductive choice for everyone. Improving access and protecting choice means:

• Making contraception accessible and affordable
• Providing information about reproductive healthcare and different types of contraception
• Providing medically accurate, age-appropriate sex education
• Ensuring medical testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases
• Protecting the right of individuals to make their own reproductive decisions, including the right to become a parent, the right to prevent pregnancy, and the right to end a pregnancy.

Through education and advocacy, HAPA works to inform the public about the issues and encourage legislators and policymakers to enact responsible, effective measures to prevent unplanned pregnancy and ensure good health for Hoosiers.
